Terms & Conditions

Last updated: June 11, 2026

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Support Alerts ("the App", "we", "us"), an application that integrates with Intercom and Slack to deliver notifications to your support team. By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Support Alerts connects to your Intercom workspace and, optionally, your Slack workspace, to monitor conversations and send notifications based on rules you configure ("Rules"). Notifications may be delivered via Slack direct message, Slack channel, or email.

2. Accounts & access

To use the App, an authorized user from your organization must connect Intercom via OAuth. You are responsible for ensuring that the person connecting the App has the authority to do so on behalf of your organization, and for managing which of your teammates have access to configure Rules.

3. Subscriptions & billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance through our payment processor. Annual plans are billed at a discounted rate equivalent to two months free compared to monthly billing. You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time from your settings page; changes take effect at the start of the next billing period unless otherwise stated at checkout.

  • Fees are non-refundable except as required by law.
  • If your account exceeds the agent limit of your current plan, alerting may be limited until you upgrade or reduce the number of configured agents.
  • Startup discounts and other promotional pricing are subject to the eligibility criteria described at the time the offer is made.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App in a way that violates Intercom's or Slack's terms of service or developer policies.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, probe, or interfere with the App's infrastructure.
  • Use the App to send spam, abusive, or unlawful content via configured notification channels.
  • Share access credentials or attempt to circumvent plan limits.

5. Data & third-party services

The App reads conversation, contact, and team data from Intercom via its API in order to evaluate your Rules, and may write messages to Slack channels or direct messages, or send emails via your configured email provider, on your behalf. See our Privacy Policy for details on how data is stored and protected.

6. Availability & changes to the Service

We aim to keep the App available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the App at any time, and we will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes that affect your configured Rules.

7. Termination

You may uninstall the App from Intercom at any time, which stops all future alerting for your workspace. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated, with notice where reasonably possible.

8. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Support Alerts is a notification aid and does not guarantee that any alert will be delivered, acknowledged, or acted upon in time. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from missed, delayed, or duplicated notifications.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent from your Support Alerts settings page, or to the support address provided at checkout.
